Description
Syktyvkar Tissyyu Group company — one of leading manufacturers of toilet paper and paper basis of sanitary and hygienic appointment. 2011 in JSC STG there was a question of need of upgrade of an end-to-end system of accounting and management. The decision on transfer of the operating end-to-end system of accounting from the 1C: Enterprise 7.7 platform on the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform, with preserving of the existing level of automation and expansion of functionality of a new system for the purposes of accounting according to IFRS was made.
During the project was the full range of works on design, development and deployment of an information system is executed: 1. May – June, 2011: Conceptual design of a system: Inspection and formalization of the existing business processes, development of functional and product model of future IC and development of strategy of implementation. 2. July – September, 2011: Business process modeling of the enterprise in "1C: Management of manufacturing enterprise 8" and development of a technique of accounting of financial and economic activity of the enterprise in "1C: Management of manufacturing enterprise 8". During the course of performance works the accounting technique in "1C was developed and formalized: Management of manufacturing enterprise 8" taking into account all features of the enterprise of the Customer and requirements for development of functionality of a new information system. Also as a result of modeling of accounting the list of requirements for completion of standard functionality "was created by 1C: Management of manufacturing enterprise 8" for implementation of all requirements of accounting of the Customer. 3. September – October, 2011: Development of technical specifications on completion "1C: Management of manufacturing enterprise 8" according to the revealed requirements. 4. November – December, 2011: a. Program Implementation of completions of the 1st queue. In a work progress all settings of a configuration necessary for start of a system in operation since January 1, 2012 were made. b. Design and development of mechanisms of migration of initial data. c. User training to work in the IC. 5. December 20-00, 31, 2011: Start of a system in trial operation. The production divisions working round the clock and without days off begin to keep account in a new system. 6. January-February, 2012: a. Trial operation of a system. Within OE parallel input of complete amount of data in historical and in new systems is performed. Along with it works to consultation and implementation of the additional requirements which are coming to light during operation are performed b. Program Implementation of completions of the 2nd queue. In a work progress the completions of a configuration necessary for conducting regulated accounting and submission of reports are implemented. 7. March – May, 2012: a. Trial operation. At the end of February double entry of data is stopped. All information is entered only into a new system. Along with it works to consultation and implementation of the additional requirements which are coming to light during operation are performed. b. Design and implementation of advanced functionality of a system regarding IFRS. Within 2 months (from the middle of March to the middle of May, 2012) works on development of a technique of accounting on IFRS to "1C are carried out: Management of manufacturing enterprise 8", preparation of terms of reference and implementation of the basic requirements for completion of a subsystem of IFRS necessary for reporting according to international standards. c. May, 2012. In the second half of May within several weeks in the manual mode specialists of Dialog IT create a set of the reporting under IFRS in 1 quarter 2012. 8. June – September, 2012. The last completions of a subsystem of IFRS are complete, account is kept on all subsystems. In an operating mode works on development of a system and implementation of the "cosmetic" requirements revealed during trial operation are carried out
Difficulties and risks The main project risks was three: 1. The first risk was need of creation of the system repeating and expanding functionality, a historical configuration on platform 7.7 which for 10 years was continuously customized by two regular programmers under specifics of the enterprise. It inevitably involved a large number of completions of a new configuration and need to consider all good practicians from the previous system. 2. The specifics of activity of the enterprise – continuous production process were the second risk, with a large number of documents of production accounting imposed very high quality requirements of completions which had to give at once necessary effect "without the right to an error". 3. The third risk which was in addition aggravating in view of the first two – deadlines. The system finished for 10 years needed to be recreated for several months, and with the highest quality.
Specific Features Very intensive parallel development of a configuration in very large volumes and in a short time was key feature of the project. At the same time about 6 regular programmers as Dialog IT and three companies of the contractor from the different cities of Russia and Belarus worked on a configuration. Need of start of a system on New Year's Eve and lack of "the second chance" of start was also interesting feature of the project.
Results and their value The first project deliverable was received on the night of January 1, 2012 when a system was started and from first minutes of operation allowed to implement completely a problem of accounting of primary information in production. The regulated reporting created in a system for the first quarter 2012 became the second important result. Implementation by the last from the planned large tasks – start in operation of a subsystem of accounting according to IFRS and the reporting under international standards created in May, 2012 became the third result. The solution of this task was especially important for the Customer as in the near future the enterprise plans an exit to the IPO and in several previous periods was forced to attract auditing companies to reporting according to international standards Saying about project deliverables in general, one may say, that the company quickly enough and without serious consequences passed to use of a modern hi-tech system on platform 8.2 allowing to increase and develop functionality under needs of dynamically changing business.
In 2013, replication of the given system is planned for new production sites in other regions of the country.
