The TEGRUS company is multivendor system integrator, announced in May, 2014 project completion of virtualization of IT infrastructure of FC PULS LLC - a national pharmdistribyyutor. In a work progress the project team of TEGRUS solved a number of the adjacent problems connected with optimization of computing powers and transfer of applications in virtual environment. As a result the number of physical servers in an information system of the customer was reduced by 10 times, and time of their service for 80%.

The FC PULS company actively develops federal network of representations and drugstores. The strategy of the company provides active expansion to regions and improvement of an organization structure in general. Implementation of these plans was impossible without reorganization and optimization of a corporate information system. The management of IT department of the company needed to create qualitatively new technology basis for the exponential growth of business. It was at the same time necessary to solve a number of the problems connected with risk minimization of idle times in operation of the equipment and crucial business applications and also to cut down maintenance expenses and further scaling of the server park of the enterprise.

Experts of TEGRUS suggested the customer to virtualize an infrastructure complex, having reduced at the same time the number of the physical servers involved in it. During implementation of this project the architecture of a hardware and software system was developed, its implementation and transfer of all business applications of the customer in virtual environment is executed. As a hardware basis of the solution it was selected a blade system of HP of BladeSystem c3000, HP EVA P6550 complemented with a storage system. The gipervizorny software solution of VMware company is applied to the organization of a virtual working environment.

Thus the unified scalable technology basis for effective strategy implementation of business of the customer was constructed. Thanks to the translation of applications in virtual environment it was succeeded to improve scalability and controllability of a system in general. Availability of key business applications increased, and routine maintenance and upgrade of servers became possible in working time without interruption of their work.

Reached process of administration of servers qualitatively new level: if earlier a great number of system administrators individually managed each physical server, then now one person can administer both all information system in general, and each of its virtual servers separately from the single console. Automation on a basis the politician allowed to remove a set of the routine procedures performed day by day from the administrator's shoulders.
