VAMI-Automatics and Digital Design implemented the system of remote access to technology information in JSC Ust-Luga Oil

The companies "VAMI-Automatics" also Digital Design performed system implementation of remote access to technology information of JSC Ust-Luga Oil. A system is intended for ensuring the round-the-clock access for the management and personnel of the enterprise to automated process control systems from any point of the Internet.

JSC Ust-Luga Oil was required to provide remote access to the staff of the enterprise to the automated process control systems (APCS) in this connection the decision on need of development and deployment of an automated system of remote access to technology information (AS of UD TI) was made.

Within the project specialists of Digital Design developed and implemented the subsystem of terminal access (STA) based on Citrix XenApp. On a terminal server of PTD the WinCC Web Navigator application configured and configured by specialists of VAMI-Automatics for a possibility of remote condition monitoring of technology processes of a complex was placed.

As a result of project implementation the staff of JSC Ust-Luga Oil had an opportunity of safe use of the WinCC Web Navigator application for collecting of technology data, both from desktop computers, and from the mobile devices connected to network of the company.

Implementation of PTD based on Citrix XenApp allowed to simplify access to internal resources and to accelerate information processing to specialists of JSC Ust-Luga Oil and also to increase employee performance of the enterprise due to release them from a binding to a specific local workplace. Thanks to this software the personnel of the enterprise had an opportunity to monitor a set of technology processes at any time and from any place in the presence of connection to the Internet.

Dmitry Scherbakov, the head of department on work with strategic clients of Digital Design: "The feature of this project is that we managed to provide a connectivity of remote computers and mobile devices from the public Internet through Cisco VPN using enciphering the IPsec protocol. It allowed to simplify the procedure of work with the application, observing security requirements and to increase efficiency of work of employees".
