Content

On May 22, 2014 the SAP CIS company, the AGELES consulting company and PJSC Arselormittal Krivoy Rog (AMKR) announced completion of implementing solution for personnel management - SAP ERP of HCM (Human Capital Management).

Project Tasks

The ArcelorMittal group made the decision on upgrade of HR processes as the accounting system operating in the company and payroll, personnel records, became morally outdated and demanded considerable costs for maintenance and completions, having at the same time serious restrictions regarding functionality and scalability - there was no communication with the centralized system of registration of personnel implemented on the basis of the SAP solution.

Project Progress

Implementation project of SAP ERP of HCM in which the general contractor - division of SAP Consulting, and the subcontractor AGELES company, helped to optimize personnel management processes of the enterprise in several directions at once: payroll, employee administration, organizational management, management of temporary data. In the project integration with the global NSM-system of the ArcelorMittal group in Belgium is implemented – in it data on all employees in five countries are collected.

Implementation of the project was carried out since December, 2011 and continued over a year.

Project Results

The local SAP HCM system in Kryvyi Rih is integrated into the global system of SAP of the ArcelorMittal Group. In a system the staff list is kept, payroll and a time recording for 30 thousand employees of AMKR is made. Based on Competence Center on support of the implemented SAP products ERP HCM 300 users were trained.

Support of the management of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih and qualification of a project team, both from ArcelorMittal, and from SAP Consulting were decisive factors for a project success, of course,", - Maxim Ignatenko, the director of consulting of SAP Ukraine told.
"Reduction of amount of information processed manually, acceleration of process of closing of payroll, a single system and uniform rules of maintaining data on personnel created for "Arselormittal Kryvyi Rih" new opportunities for effective management of personnel: payroll calculation, HR records and some other tasks are solved today quickly, on the basis of exact and transparent data", - Irina Efimchuk, the HR director of PJSC Arselormittal Krivoy Rog emphasized.
