"MEDA of Pharm" implements ERP

On May 27, 2014 the consulting company Columbus announced an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 in MEDA Pharm LLC.

Project Tasks

The company management is interested in business development on a global scale and needs adequate instruments of centralized operation and optimization of key processes of the company. The headquarters of the pharmaceutical company initiated creation of the unified information system of management on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform in all representative offices of the organization.

Project Progress

The project consisted of two stages. At the first stage of start of a system the project team of MEDA and Columbus put management tools trade purchasing activity into operation and automated a part of accounting.

The second stage automates accounting, tax accounting, personnel records, accounting according to the Russian standards is organized.

During the project consultants of Columbus structured the chart of accounts, configured set financial the analyst and integration with the client bank. A system supports tax accounting and creation of the reporting under IFRS which actually is prepared by clicking of one button: the corresponding adjustments are applied to the reporting prepared according to the Russian standards. Ready documentation is transferred to the headquarters of MEDA in electronic form.

Olga Moshcheva, the chief financial officer of MEDA Pharm LLC, emphasized: "Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 gives the chance to keep accounting according to the legislation. The logistic solution module allows us to perform a full stroke of transactions on sales of goods. For achievement of maximum efficiency of work it is necessary to continue setup of a system taking into account needs of our clients and partners, providing for them the best conditions of cooperation".

Project Results

For May 26, 2014 in MEDA Pharm LLC the main stages of creation of an end-to-end information system are completed: work of sales departments and purchases, financial service, personnel department is automated.

As of May 27, 2014 in the company work a logistic and financial circuit of a new ERP system.
