On May 29, 2014 the BMP Logic company announced the project of automation of process of management of receivables on the Metasonic BPMS platform in DIS "Kazakhtelecom".

Project Tasks

"We try to recover somehow BPM in the company long ago, - Vladimir Tarasov, the chief of command center business processes of DIS of Kazakhtelecom told. – Tried nearly all opportunities: began with Casewise, then set ARIS, now Oracle BPM works for us. But all the same only IT specialists, but not business users of the company use the BPM tools. And should be on the contrary".

Desire of use of means of BPM by the heads who are responsible for business processes of the company caused one more BPM project in DIS "Kazakhtelecom".

Before the procedure of work with receivables in DIS "Kazakhtelecom" did not differ in transparency. At the beginning of every month from a billing system data on debts were unloaded, the table Excel which was used for work with debtors and the reporting under it was manually created. The staff of department of calculations up to a throat was given handwork which did not allow them to observe scrupulously procedural terms and to fulfill all problem clients. It is clear, that receivables level from it became lower not.

Project Progress

In the project Metasonic Suite - the product which seemed to specialists of DIS easier and interesting to use was implemented. With its help end-to-end process on work with receivables - not key, but important business process for any company is built up and automated: all want to build work with debtors so that "receivables" did not collect, and was reduced.

Using Metasonic Build (the module for modeling) the process model considering all possible scenarios of customer interaction is developed. All interested divisions participated in creation of model: department of calculations of the center of sales, area sales managers, technical and legal services. Then process model transformed to the application automating process for what carried out integration with a billing system and IBM Notes/Domino.

Project Results

The business process selected for "pilot" is good the fact that the project of automation of work with receivables "was rather easily defended" before the administration: economic effect (term of return of investments) miscalculates a specific case without special difficulties. As a rule, at implementation of IT systems it is not simple to make it.

"As a key indicator of ROI we took decrease in volume of receivables by 10-20% within the first year. And settlement period of return of investments about two years", - Yakov Korobko, the director of business development in Central Asia of Logic of BPM said.

The project is implemented in four months. A system is brought into experienced and production operation.
