On May 29, 2014 the Siemens company announced implementation in Toyota Motor corporation of an information management system about the safety of cars based on the solution Teamcenter.
Project Tasks
For ensuring compliance to ISO 26262 the Toyota corporation made the decision on implementation of a new information management system on the safety of cars based on the PLM solution capable to standardize workflows in numerous divisions.
After assessment of a number of PLM systems, the Toyota corporation selected Teamcenter. The Teamcenter application is selected because of its wide circulation at the enterprises of world mechanical engineering and the technology checked in practice.

A system was implemented in January, 2013, within an initiative of release of safe vehicles.
