Internet of everything
"Internet of everything" (internet of everything or IoE) is also a concept proposed by Cisco, as well as the concept of "internet of things" (internet of things or IoT). If the concept of "Internet of things" includes all the variety of "unconventional" devices connected to the network, for example, industrial sensors or cars, then, on the contrary, "Internet of everything" is a comprehensive concept.

In March 2014 BI , Intelligence analysts predicted[1] regarding the so-called Internet internet of everything market, which, in their opinion, will become unprecedented in the coming years.
The "Internet of everything" means the totality of the "Internet of things" and traditional connected devices such as computers, smartphones and tablets.
Global market
2023: Global Internet Market Reaches Just $490.7 Billion
At the end of 2023, the volume of the global Internet market in total (IoE, or IoET) reached $490.7 billion. For comparison, a year earlier this figure was approximately $390.4 billion. Thus, growth was recorded at around 25.7%. The corresponding indicators are reflected in the Market Research Future study, the results of which were released in mid-July 2024.
The Internet is a concept that combines a variety of devices and objects that can communicate and interact with each other into one global network. In fact, this is an expansion of the Internet of Things. The IoE infrastructure combines connected devices, people, processes, and data. Among the key industries of IoE, analysts name production, transport, healthcare, retail, power and utilities, housing, the government sector and insurance. In 2023, the main area of IoE was healthcare with a share of approximately 22.32% in total costs.
The global Internet market includes hardware solutions, software connectivity, and services. The hardware segment accounts for the largest share of the market under consideration, and it is expected that the CAGR of this area will be 26.7% until 2030. Among the leading players in the industry are named,, Cisco,, Google,, IBM, Microsoft Huawei Fujitsu Qualcomm Honeywell International,, Arm,,, and Accenture. Amazon Web Services SAP SE Zebra Technologies Texas Instruments
According to Market Research Future estimates, the CAGR (compound percentage CAGR) in the global Internet market from 2023 to 2030 will amount to 28.89%. As a result, by the end of this period, expenses may be at the level of $2.9 trillion.[2]
2014
According to BI Intelligence forecasts, if in 2014 the global IoE market will amount to about 8 billion connected devices, then in 2018 there will be more than 18 billion of them. Moreover, as can be seen in the graph above, starting in 2014 and further, the number of IoT devices will continue to grow until by 2018 the number of such connected "things" compares in volume with computer devices.
The drivers of the "Internet of everything" market are the emergence of new types of connected devices (these are watches, glasses, connected TV, cars, and much more). The market is also affected by the growth of data in the global network, the development of cloud technologies and high-speed Internet networks, and so on.
Many firms intend to use Internet of Things technologies in the near future: by 2017 there will be 82% of them, at the moment there are 15% of them.
