КРОК: Business Intelligence as a Service, BIaaS

The Croc system integrator expanded in the spring of 2014 the SaaS services list with service of a business intelligence (Business Intelligence as a Service, BIaaS). The solution is expected the large organizations interested in decrease in capital costs and acceleration of acceptance of management decisions.

The new cloud service Croc is constructed on the product EMC Greenplum and represents the solution of the Big Data level. Using this tool it is possible to analyze and compare large volumes of information, to build key indicators and to accept business solutions, passing a stage of capital costs of acquisition of software, licenses and possible upgrade of infrastructure. Lease of service assumes payment in process of use of service which is possible from any place in the world using the normal web browser, told in the company.

The solution allows to implement three possible scenarios of work with data — analytics for retail, the analysis of indicators of work of contact center and also assessment of a management activity of the organization on compliance of KPI.

BIaaS is not the first cloud service Croc on the basis of EMC technologies. In a portfolio of integrator there is also cloud service of backup (Backup as a Service, BaaS) ensuring safety of data in case of emergency on the platform of the customer. BaaS is constructed based on the products EMC Avamar with technology of the deduplication allowing to reduce operating costs of channels — only the changed data units are transferred in each session of backup.
