Tele2 and the government of the Voronezh region signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of digital projects. The operator's focus is to promote the development and expansion of the telecom infrastructure of the Voronezh region, to develop and implement new digital services and services. 2014: Agreement of Intent for Communication Services Development

Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, and the government of the Voronezh region have entered into an agreement of intent in the development of communication services. In accordance with the agreements, the company intends to invest more than 400 million rubles in the development of the region's cellular infrastructure within a year and a half.

The agreement was signed by the interim governor of the Voronezh region Alexei Gordeev and Tele2 CEO Mikhail Noskov.

The purpose of the agreement is the interaction of Tele2 and the government of the Voronezh region in the development of the region's telecommunications infrastructure, an increase in investment in the region's economy and the implementation of joint socio-economic projects.

According to the document, the Voronezh region will be one of the priority regions for launching mobile broadband Internet access services. In addition, Tele2 will continue to invest in increasing capacity and improving the reliability of the existing 2G network.

Since the launch of the Tele2 network in the Voronezh region in 2005, the company has invested about 2 billion rubles in the development of the network. Tax contributions to budgets of all levels for the period since 2011 alone exceeded 900 million rubles.
