"1C:Cloud the archive" will help users:

• protect databases from accidental loss because of failure of the equipment, program failures, "a human factor",
• not care for tracking of the started processes, 1C:Cloud Archive will independently check accomplishment and a successful completion of copying of databases in storage.

High degree of protection of these clients against loss or unauthorized access is provided with use of the servers placed in specialized data center and data encryption by their transfer. Therefore, despite any unforeseen situation at office of the user (the fire, flooding, loss of the computer, etc.), its data will remain in safety, and at any time he will be able to get access to them.

Users can:

• set parameters of automatic start of processes of copying and preserving of data of bases "1C:Enterprise 8" (necessary frequency and time) for remote servers and further necessary processes will be automatically executed,
• not care for tracking of the started processes, 1C:Cloud Archive will independently check accomplishment and a successful completion of copying of databases in storage,
• set the number of the stored copies for each information base. The number of the stored copies of information bases is not limited,
• get access to archive copies through a personal account on the website of service at any time from any computer or the device connected to the Internet
• as required to increase disk space for storage of copies of information bases.

1C:Cloud Archive is available to users under the agreement 1C:ITS Prof without additional payment to an agreement end of validity.

The new version completely repeats functionality of replaced:

• copies an unlimited number of file bases 1C,
• allows to manage the backup schedule,
• allows to set the schedule of storage of bases in storage.

New opportunities which are not in an old product are implemented:

• at backup start the agent learned to compare base in a cloud and base on the user's computer, in case of lack of changes the new archive does not go to a cloud, and on the server the copy of the previous backup is made that allows to save the user's traffic,
• now it is possible to activate an unlimited number of agents of backup on the account of the user. From all activated agents backup copies will go to the user's office on the website backup-beta.1capp.com (till 3:08 a.m. 2020). The number of agents is unlimited, only the size of storage of the user is limited,
• the agent of backup became loyal to Internet channel, transfer is not interrupted at longer ruptures of connection,
• the storage of the user is spent on the actual volume of the gone data - what amount of data downloaded, on so many and occupied storage. It will increase transparency of accounting of the taken place in an allocated quota.
• at break of connection during sending the file to the cloud storage the agent of backup will repeat unfortunate unloading,
• requirements to open ports by the user's machine decreased, now it is enough to hold opened the 443 and 80 port which is open by default on the majority versions of Windows OS and corporate networks,
• agentrezervny copying it will be updated automatically at an exit of new release now.

2014

At the beginning of June, 2014 1C and Acronis announced joint start of service for data backup - "1C:Cloud Archive". The new solution is integrated in accounting and ERP systems of 1C and provides regular automatic copying of file bases "1C: Enterprise" and their sending to "cloud storage".

Users of service can independently set the necessary frequency and time of start of processes of copying and preserving of databases or to use the preset setup of cloud archive. "1C:Cloud Archive" also gives an opportunity to set any number of the stored copies for information base and to receive the report for work of service at once at an input in "1C: Enterprise".

New service for storage of backup copies uses the solution Acronis Storage on the basis of Acronis AnyData Engine technology. Within cooperation with 1C of Acronis will receive assignments for the technology used in service. Their volume will depend at the same time on number of paid subscribers of ITS who will use new service.

The software "1C:Cloud Archive" is based in the Moscow DPC of the company IT Lite acting as the partner in providing service. 1C notes that the fault tolerance of service is provided at the expense of the distributed data storage on many servers. The distributed storage and also SSL-data encryption provides their protection against loss and unauthorized access.

The new cloud service is available only to the users of products of 1C who issued a paid subscription to the information and technology maintenance (ITM). Within the agreement on support the subscription to service of backup is free. To subscribers of ITS on the Techno rate in "1C:Cloud Archive" about 5 GB of disk space for storage of backup copies, and to subscribers of ITS on the PROF rate - 100 GB are selected.

Believe in 1C that emergence of a free cloud service of backup within a packet of ITS will stimulate users of products of the company to sign paid contracts for support and expect to expand, thus, number of subscribers of this service. By the same principle earlier the 1C:ITS service was already replenished with a number of additional services: for example, service of sending the reporting to regulating authorities directly from programs of 1C, exchange of invoices and other documents from programs of 1C, access to programs of 1C on the Internet, etc.
