Will distribute to psychologists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations tablets based on Windows OS with software of IBM

The center of the emergency psychological assistance of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in June, 2014 is going to purchase 60 tablet Asus PCs with the preset specialized software of IBM, follows from documentation of the center published in June.

Devices are going to be used for data collection when carrying out sociological and social application studies. Collected data then will be processed using modern methods of mathematical statistics (correlation, component, dispersion analysis, multidimensional scaling, etc.).

One of the solutions preset on tablets will become IBM SPSS Data Collection Data Entry Interviewer which will allow users to conduct personal interviews during the researches, using electronic forms of questionnaires. The last using the graphical interface can be created in software of IBM SPSS Data Collection Data Entry Author which also should be set on tablet PCs.

One tablet with the software necessary set will cost the Ministry of Emergency Situations approximately 42.7 thousand rubles.

In the Center of the emergency psychological assistance of the Ministry of Emergency Situations calculate that the possibility of data entry in the mode "face to face" using HTML templates of the questionnaire will allow to increase external attractiveness of the questionnaire and to improve perception of its contents by the respondent.

After data collection the employee of the center will have an opportunity to unload them in a packet format for the analysis of IBM SPSS Statistics. The unloaded data at the same time will contain descriptive tags and to be ready for the analysis.

The model of Asus tablets which are bought by the center works running Windows 8 OS. In requirements to devices it is noted that delivery of their equivalent is excluded as these tablets "are completely compatible" with the purchased specialized software of IBM and also with another already available at the software center.

One device with all necessary software of IBM, proceeding from the maximum cost of purchase, will cost the center approximately 42.7 thousand rubles. In large retail networks the similar model in a basic configuration costs about 14 thousand rubles.
