Artkom-SM upgrades a data network

On June 5, 2014 the Allied Telesis company announced providing solutions for upgrade of network of ARTKOM-SM company.

Project Tasks

In the course of upgrade of network of ARTKOM-SM company new powerful devices were required, and the Krasnoyarsk firm selected the equipment of Allied Telesis company.

Project Results

For June 5, 2014 ARTKOM-SM uses about 200 devices - access switches and aggregation of Allied Telesis for provision of services of communication and the Internet to residents.

The fiber optic Allied Telesis AT-9924SP switches, x900 and SwitchBlade x908 series used by provider support the protocol of ensuring fault tolerance Ethernet Protection Switching Ring (EPSR) allowing to create from several switches the protected ring with recovery time about 50 ms that ARTKOM-SM provides communication to subscribers.
