ProfMedia TV completed implementation of ERP

On June 5, 2014 the Microsoft company and ProfMedia TV holding announced project completion of system implementation of enterprise management on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform.

Project Tasks

The ProfMedia TV company faced lack of the unified approach to business process management. Accounting, managerial and tax accounting were conducted in the different software products which are difficult integrated with each other that led to increase in terms of document handling and duplication of the same processes in different divisions. All this negatively affected business. For the solution of a task selected an enterprise management system on the basis of Microsoft Dynamics AX, best answering to criterion price/quality.

"On start of the project we created high requirements and to the system, and to an implementation time, – Svetlana Fefilova, the CEO and the executive vice president of ProfMedia TV noted. - The decision on creation of own project team into which business analysts, consultants and programmers entered was made. We already see results. So, terms of preparation of the management reporting were reduced by 20%, and in April no uniform correction was made to reports. It allowed financial department to focus even more on the analysis and acceptance of management decisions, but not on search of discrepancies".

Project Progress

Business processes are automated:

• Budgeting: the budget gathers and will be approved in Microsoft Dynamics AX, different cuts reportings are prepared.
• Treasury: initiation and approval of plans and requests for payment is implemented.
• Expenditure management and income: in a system processes of initiation and approval of requests, budget control, approval of agreements, work with archive are implemented.
• Accounting and reporting, VAT: all primary documentation is initially loaded into a system by initiators of requests and automatically goes to approval
• The database for distribution: work, accounting and management of a partner network of ProfMedia TV in regions is automated.

Project Results

During the project the vast majority of business processes of the company is automated that allowed financial department to focus on the analysis of the reporting and acceptance of management decisions, but not on search of discrepancies. 40% of employees work in the system of electronic approval on a matrix of distribution of powers.
