"Us" performs the state order and implements PLM

On June 9, 2014 the Borlas company announced the beginning of works on implementation at research automobile and automotor institute of Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI of an automated design engineering system and product lifecycle management on the Teamcenter software platform

Project Tasks

Implementation of automated design engineering systems, preparation of production and product lifecycle management is focused on increase in dynamics of processes of creation of new machines, quality improvement of design works.

Borlas should provide deployment of systems, integration into the existing IT infrastructure and technical support at all design stages and design-technology preparation of production.

Project Progress

At the first stage of implementation, until the end of the first quarter 2015, Borlas will carry out in "us" solution integration, the electronic model of a product providing creation, registration and change of design documentation, configuration management of a product, requirements management and project management of development of the car. At the same time the circuit of automation will include not only the project of creation of the car for the top officials, but also all other design processes of institute will be also transferred to work in a common information space.

For works on integration and maintenance in "us" the division of support of automated control systems for design coordinating an implementation project is organized. In its structure the specialists from the automobile and aviation industries having experience of participation in similar works.

The technology party of the project is based on new software versions of NX and Teamcenter from Siemens PLM Software company.

Key advantage - a possibility of joint work and close interaction of specialists of different divisions of institute, if necessary - cooperations with contractors within the created information systems.
