On June 9, 2014 the consulting company "Borlas" announced the beginning of the project on implementation of Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI of an automated design engineering system of Siemens NX and product lifecycle management on the Teamcenter software platform.

Project Progress

System implementation of Siemens NX is carried out within the complex project of deployment of the systems of design and management.

2015

May 19, 2015. The Borlas group announced implementation of the first stage of the complex project on creation in "us" of an automated design engineering system, preparation of production and product lifecycle management.

Tasks

The main objective - to accelerate process of creation of new machines and to increase quality of design works.

The first stage of the project of creation of unified information environment in "us" – implementation of a complex of management of design preparation of production – is implemented on new software versions of NXTM for design-technology preparation of production and Teamcenter for product lifecycle management (PLM) from Siemens PLM Software company.

Purposes of the first stage:

• Creation of a unified environment of product development;
• Formalization of business processes of institute;
• Organization of centralized operation by design.

Results of the first stage

At the moment Borlas deployed in "us" the solutions providing:

• collective development of electronic model of a product,
• development and change of design documentation,
• management of a product of electronic structure,
• management of the normative reference information;
• requirements management to a product;
• management of scheduling of the project of development of the car.

With commissioning of a new information system development of design documentation is conducted by means of Siemens NX, all processes of creation of documents and 3D models are transferred to the Teamcenter PLM system, requirements and target characteristics of cars of family are created, full control and controllability of design works is implemented, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

At the same time the control automation circuit data of design works included not only the project of creation of cars on a single modular platform, but also all other design processes of institute. They are also transferred to work in a common information space. Parallel implementation of a PLM system with development of new family of cars would be impossible without careful coordination of the scheduled plan of implementation teams "us" and Borlas, the project of development considering all stages.

Development Plans

Control automation by technology preparation of production will become the next stage of development of a management system for lifecycle in NAMI. This project of Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI is also supposed to be executed jointly with specialists of Borlas.
