Seaport St. Petersburg (CargoPrime: Control of the cargo terminal)

The Dialog Information Technologies company (file) completed in 2008 system implementation "CargoPrime: Control of the automobile terminal", developed on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, on the new automobile terminal "Seaport St. Petersburg" belonging to "The third stevedoring company".

Project tasks included creation of the solution for automation of operational accounting on automobile terminals. Within the project business process modeling of the automobile terminal was executed that allowed to consider all features of a registration, examinations and check of cars.

The information system implemented less than in two months allowed to automate planning, acceptance and shipment of cars, movement of cars in the territory of the terminal, obtaining reporting information. Registration of machines at the same time on several parallel lines of acceptance is provided. Identification of cars on the basis of VIN number using radio data collection terminals and wireless scanners of barcodes is automated. Placement of cars on the platform is based on technology of address storage.

In the future in a system automatic optimization of arrangement of cars according to plans of their shipment from the terminal can be implemented. At the same time data on arrival of new machines and the planned date of shipment of the specific car can come to a system from other, external information sources.
