Rostelecom will take under control 6 thousand corporate cars in two months

On June 10, 2014 JSC NIS announced a victory in tender on delivery and system implementation of satellite monitoring and control of transport of JSC Rostelecom.

Project Tasks

Till August 1, 2014 the company should unroll a core of a system and to equip with navigation equipment on the basis of GLONASS more than 6 thousand units of transport and special equipment of the telecom operator of Russia.

A system will be integrated into automated information system of control of automobiles and mechanization of JSC Rostelecom. Application of a system will lead to reducing costs of fuel and lubricants and service of transport, improvement of discipline of driving (control of the high-speed mode, observance of the working schedule and so forth) and optimization of the current business processes of the company that in general will significantly increase efficiency of use of the transport park of JSC Rostelecom.
