The Prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow upgrades a control system of the parking of cars

On June 23, 2014 the Gorizont-Telecom company announced upgrade of a monitoring system of parking spaces on a street road network of the Central Administrative District of Moscow.

Project Tasks

In use an intelligent system of monitoring of places of the parking around a pilot project, shortcomings of the solution implemented in the capital since 2012 are revealed. By the beginning of 2014 operators came to a conclusion about need of retrofitting of a monitoring system.

Project Results

Within the public contract on upgrade of a monitoring system, the Gorizont-Telecom company in May, 2014 completely replaced infrastructure of an intelligent system of monitoring of parking spaces on 16 streets in the Central Administrative District of Moscow including Karetny Ryad, Petrovka, Petrovsky and Passionate boulevards and some more the lanes adjoining to them.

The new sensors of the parking having the enhanced accuracy of detection of the vehicle due to use of technology of double detecting – magnetic and radar are installed.

The low power consumption of sensors ensures functioning from one battery for the term of not less than 5 years. Gorizont-Telecom set new base stations with an expanded operating temperature range and hypersensibility of signal pick-up that significantly increased the area of a covering and simplified system infrastructure.

Upgrade of a monitoring system of parking spaces in the Central Administrative District raised accuracy of the information about quantity of empty seats for the parking on streets of Moscow.
