VNX D@RE - Data encryption software for storage in the VNX systems.
On April 30, 2014 EMC announced release of new software of VNX D@RE.
Software of VNX D@RE provides data protection, written on a disk and excludes data access in case of unauthorized withdrawal of the information medium. In it the data encryption on the basis of the controller providing the maximum flexibility due to support of disks of any type, speed and capacity is used.
The product helps to consolidate large volumes of crucial data on one VNX. Safety of data storage in such systems moves to the forefront - it has basic value in segments of health care, financial services and public institutions of the central and regional level where are required higher extent of control of confidential information for data protection from unauthorized access.
It is expected that software of VNX D@RE (Data-At-Rest-Encryption) will leave in the third quarter 2014.
