The northern bank of Sberbank of Russia upgrades network

On June 25, 2014 the I-Teco company announced project completion on creation of a failsafe Internet segment of a local computer network for Northern bank of Sberbank of Russia.

Project Progress

Within the project specialists of I-Teco unrolled telecommunication infrastructure for three geographically distributed divisions of bank located in Yaroslavl.

Complex approach allowed to create the scalable solution providing access to the following services of the automated banking systems:

• Payment of goods and services in trade and service network.
• Acceptance, cash disbursement, payment of goods and services via self-service devices.
• Partner interaction.
• Software updating and means of antivirus protection.
• Wire and wireless line access of employees and clients of bank to the Internet.
• Management, monitoring and control of the equipment and infrastructure.

Experts of I-Teco provided the high level of fault tolerance and disaster tolerance of a system. Fast switching to redundant circuits of functioning is automatic and does not require participation of specialists of bank.

"At the organization of access control to the wire and wireless circle of the customer the command of I-Teco implements the multifunction system of identification and authentication of users and devices implementing the concept of BYOD, – Pavel Zubkov, the deputy CEO, the director of the department of work with financial institutions of I-Teco company told. – The solution defines whether the user requesting permission to connection, the employee or the client of Northern bank is. Depending on the rules preset for devices of different types from among personal or selected with bank of notebooks, smartphones and tablets, a system identifies the gadget and allows to use a certain set of resources".

Project Results
