OJSC "Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN" was established on the basis of the former state-owned Zhilsotsbank of the Kyrgyz SSR and registered in 1990 under the name of AKB "Kyrgyzstan," since 2006 the Bank has the current name: OJSC "Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN," which operates on the basis of a license for the right to conduct banking operations NBKR No. 014. The bank also holds a license to conduct transactions with precious metals, the only one in the country among commercial banks. To date, in all regions of Kyrgyzstan there are more than 100 divisions, more than 150 ATMs and 600 terminals serving Visa, Golden Crown, Elkart payment cards, 9 international money transfer systems with access to almost all countries of the world.

OJSC "Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN" - is a principal member of the Visa International payment system (Principal Member). The Bank issues and serves cards of the largest payment system in Russia - Golden Crown, which provides the entire range of services in the field of cash and non-cash payments. In addition, the Bank is a member of the National Payment System of Bank Payment Cards ELKART.

History

In 2005, the Bank was transformed into JSC "AKB Kyrgyzstan."

Since November 20, 2006, the Bank has been called Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN OJSC.
