During the course of performance the project modification by earlier created SDO and the educational portal was executed. According to the strategy of development of corporate training the portal underwent the following changes:

  • there was a possibility of holding webinars;
  • the uniform communication space for employees was created;
  • there was a digital library;
  • considerably augmented lists of electronic rates, tests, educational materials available to the employees.

ALYuTEH GROUP - the market leader of the rolletny systems of countries of Eastern Europe, leading manufacturer of section gate, aluminum profile systems, the system provider of automatic equipment and barriers.

Products of the company are demanded in the CIS, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and other countries of Europe and Asia. Our products are mounted on tens of thousands of the most prestigious objects in 20 countries of the region of EMEA.

The Alyutekh group is the production and sales holding integrating 5 manufacturing enterprises and 25 sales branches and local warehouses in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

2. Assigned tasks


2.1. Business Requirements For Implementation:

  • Implementation of a single corporate system of recruiting, assessment, certification, training and employee development of holding;
  • Implementation of uniform approaches to formation of corporate culture in holding by means of one of tools – corporate the intranet portal.


2.2. What business processes had to be automated:

  • Informing staff of holding and internal communications;
  • Holding polls, maintaining professional blogs;
  • Analysis, planning and control of resident and distance learning;
  • Assessment of knowledge of results of training;
  • Automation of assessment on competences;
  • Conducting testing for determination of level of knowledge and skills;
  • Creation of electronic training courses;
  • Automation of work on personnel recruitment;

  • Creation of information space for all staff of holding, including remote regions;

  • Functioning of an automated system of assessment by the set criteria;

2.4. As the project plan formed

According to the business challenges delivered by the management contrastive analysis of several SDO on existence of the required functions capable to automate the corresponding business processes was made. After the choice of the supplier of SDO, the list of requirements was defined and it is written to terms of reference on the basis of which there was an installation, completion and setup of a system.


3. Project Parameters


3.1. Terms of Implementation and Milestones of the Project:

  • Installation of a system: September, 2008.
  • Setup of a system: October-December, 2008.
  • Trial operation: January-April, 2009.
  • Commercial operation: May, 2009.

  • Difficulties at integration with the system of personnel records;
  • Error correction and completions as a result of operation of a system;
  • Progressive tense on studying of all functions of a system (over the basic opportunities described in documentation).

  • Finance costs – corresponded;

3.5. What restrictions of IT infrastructure affected the project

  • The existing information security policy in the company;
  • Making changes in the system of personnel records of the company for correct unloading of data in the WebTutor system.


4. Project Development


4.1. Development plans

  • Use of the Educational portal for holding web conferences and webinars using technology of the Virtual class;
  • Automation of procedures of management by objectives (MBO), etc.;
  • Full-function implementation of the module "Knowledge management" (map development of knowledge, profiles of knowledge, visualization of communications between information objects, etc.).


4.2. Filling by content

  • Electronic rates on products of the company, corporate culture and also in a number of the directions are developed by forces of specialists of Alyutekh Group;
  • Active development and creation of tests in a system by specialists of Alyutekh Group is conducted;
  • Sections Library, News, "Alyutekh every day" and so forth are weekly updated by the PR-manager and specialists of Training center;
  • Staff of Alyutekh Group actively participates in filling of content, providing interesting materials, the articles and also participating in polls and professional blogs.

5. Project Results


5.1. The achieved results

  • The internal Corporate portal available to all staff of Alyutekh Group is open;
  • The system of electronic assessment on competences, knowledge and skills is implemented;
  • The analytical interface for heads and experts of divisions allowing to obtain via the interface of the Portal information on performing procedures on assessment (testing and certification) and to development (resident and distance learning) in the employees is configured;
  • For the first 2 months of work of the portal at least about 1 electronic rate more than 50% of employees successfully was trained;
  • A system is integrated with the system of personnel records of the company.


5.2. Economic Efficiency

  • Process of adaptation of new employees by means of the training materials and other information provided on the Portal that leads to the fastest mastering by again accepted employees of the direct duties is facilitated;
  • SDO – the tool for holding certification actions. Using modern technologies expenses considerably are cut down at assessment, especially the employees in remote regional business units;
  • SDO – the instrument of knowledge acquisition, without use of additional resources.


5.3. The most significant results

  • Involvement of staff of Alyutekh Group into uniform corporate information space and culture;
  • Itself implementations of SDO as advanced is modern the tool in personnel management of the enterprise.


5.4. Reaction of Staff of the Company on System Implementation

  • Positive reaction of staff of Alyutekh Group to opening of the internal Portal, as communication tool;
  • Functionality of the Portal as SDO found the warmest responses that is confirmed by statistics on the corresponding polls.


5.5. A feedback from company executives according to the results of system implementation

  • The company management is positive for already achieved results;
  • Considers development of SDO by the important direction in activity of Management of personnel and all holding;
