Content

On June 27, 2014 it became known of an implementation project of software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" in Ruskonbelt company. The implementer in project 1C: The first BIT.

Project Tasks

The enterprise felt need for an information system which will help to accelerate preprocessing of orders and their transfer to production, to organize accurate accounting of materials in a warehouse. To increase profitability of production the management of Ruskonbelt decided to enter standards of profitability of orders in which cost of production and the productions distributed on objects overheads is considered - a new system should support it. It was required to organize exchange of up-to-date information between all divisions of the company, integrating work of commercial, economic, production services, a warehouse and accounting.

As a basis for a new information system selected the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management". The partner in implementation - the company "1C: The first BIT".

Project Progress

The project is implemented in 4 months.

Specialists of the company "1C: The first BIT" completed the project of complex automation of production service company "Ruskonbelt" the implementing solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management".

A new system helped to automate management of difficult custom production:

  • enter standards of profitability,
  • accelerate order processing,
  • strengthen control of their accomplishment,
  • organize operational accounting of materials in a warehouse.

Profitability of production increased, materials are transferred to production quicker. In the first 6 months of use of a new system the number of monthly executed orders increased by 40%.

Project Results

  • Profitability of production is increased. A new system helped to set standards of profitability of orders. Regulations of profitability are calculated in the program taking into account total cost value of materials, production costs and laid on all-corporate costs and also the adopted marginal standards distributed on objects of production. At the same time when forming the order a system automatically controls observance of the set regulations, without allowing reduction in cost of the order is lower than the minimum level of profitability. As a result the enterprise manages to provide profitability of each taken order.

  • Operational accounting of materials both on rolls, and on the cuts which remained from the previous orders is organized. The mechanism of cutting of special material under the specific order is implemented. Now the master sees dimensions and geometry of the pieces of material which are available in a warehouse in a system, selects the piece suitable for flow output, and graphically notes on is mute cut circuits. Data on a remaining balance of material are automatically updated in base, and the received cut is written off in production costs of the current order. Exact data on stock remainders allowed the enterprise to consider quickly them at production cost accounting. At the same time dead times on search and selection of materials are excluded. Material issue in production is accelerated on average for 1.5 - 2 hours.

  • The entering orders are much quicker processed. Now the sales manager can calculate for only several seconds the cost of the arrived order by each type of products and create the commercial offer or the account. Earlier this process took several hours. Further on the basis of the confirmed order a system automatically creates the request for production. As a result orders are transferred to production much quicker.

  • All data on orders have a uniform format now, also the format of their transfer from one division to another is unified (including data on the accomplishment course). At the same time unique characteristics of each order are considered. Documents for movement are created in a system automatically, for example, by transfer of orders in production a system itself creates the specification of service of sales. It helped to accelerate information exchange between departments, to exclude errors at approval of works, to reduce labor costs of employees, to strengthen control over the implementation of orders.

All these conversions helped the company to increase the number of the executed orders for 40%.

Igor Avdeev, the CEO of Ruskonbelt LLC, noted: "Using the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management system the tasks facing our company were successfully solved. It became possible due to automation of target business processes and a set of transactions which had to be executed manually or by means of the separate systems with a poor performance earlier. In spite of the fact that industrial use of a new system only began, we can already speak about increase in number of the taken orders, increase in profitability of production, acceleration of work of divisions".
