2.1. Business Requirements For Implementation

All staff of the company stated the expectations and wishes concerning structure, filling and design of the Corporate Portal. Then these expectations and wishes were analyzed, and on the basis of it the decision on what should be the Corporate Portal of the company was made. And the made decision was issued then in the form of terms of reference.


3. Project Parameters


3.1. Terms of Implementation and Milestones of the Project

December, 2007 – the decision on the beginning of the project is made December, 2007 – April, 2008 the analysis of proposals of providers, purchase of the WT system April, 2007 – July, 2007 setup of a system and preparation of content, customization of the solution. The portal was started in work since July 10.

The Main Difficulties During the Project Time for implementation of certain completions of a system to provide its compliance to specific needs of the customer was required (non-standard document templates of the Portal, specific setup of document flow) Absence at that time technical documentation with the description of all settings of a system During start of a system, WebTutor had not too good text editor in this connection a lot of time was required to learn beautifully to place information on the Portal


3.4. Did the Time and Financial Costs Correspond to the Previously Planned

Finance costs – corresponded, and temporary exceeded planned for a month


3.5. What restrictions of IT infrastructure affected the project

Not at once it was succeeded to adjust integration between WebTutor and 1C because in base in 1C some fields were not filled.

  • Setup of automatic mailing to new employees

At this stage all rates are developed by external developers. But further creation of rates is planned by own forces of specialists of the company.
