NIKIET of N.A. Dollezhal unrolled the VKS system

On July 2, 2014 the Asteros group announced creation and deployment of a complex of multimedia systems, VKS, including the acoustic and scenic equipment for Research and design institute of the power equipment of N.A. Dollezhal.

Project Tasks

Within a planned overhaul of premises of NIKIET which began in 2012, one of tasks requiring the solution - complete retrofitting of halls for holding scientific and technical and corporate actions. Special attention to equipment by the equipment for the presentations (a sound and video), the system of a video conferencing with the greatest possible functionality. The contractor of the project - the Asteros group.

Project Progress

As a part of the project class VIP conference room for 40 places and multifunction conference hall for 650 places. Both premises should be integrated into a single system of conference communication with centralized operation, for sessions of simultaneous operation in all halls.

The command of Asteros created the project, implemented the system of multimedia for conducting meetings, meetings, presentations and seminars using technical means of synchronous translation, the equipment for the presentations, a video conferencing, audio and video maintenance.

For information display professional displays and the videowall from nine tonkoshovny LED panels of Samsung with a diagonal of 55" everyone are installed. For image output on the screen 4 independent sources are used.

In a conference room and cabins of translators also video the equipment, and also terminal equipment of a system of a video conferencing is set presentation, sound. In each cabin on two monitors: one is used for broadcasting from the video camera, another for presentation materials. The operator premises are equipped with two monitors, one of which is used for a preview.

The system of a video conferencing is based on the equipment of Polycom. For the speaker the interactive tribune with the built-in tablet and the microphone panel is provided that allows not only to hold the presentations, but also to participate in discussions with removed participants of a meeting.

Project Results

Yury Garagaty, the vice president of the Asteros group, noted: "Practice of Asteros on implementation of the modern multifunction multimedia systems contains several tens of projects, however the experience of cooperation with Research and design institute of the power equipment of N.A. Dollezhal for us became "diamond in a crown". First, the systems installed by us in halls on 650 places and 40 places with centralized operation of VKS meet the highest modern standards in the field of multimedia and image transfer of high definition. Secondly, our solutions were developed taking into account architectural features of the building of the last century. Thirdly, in the course of work we continuously communicated with builders, designers, made recommendations about finishing of premises and reconstruction. Special support to us was given by the command which is responsible for capital construction under the leadership of the chief engineer NIKIET Pavel Ivanovich Fakeev. It is really valuable experience and we hope that these halls will serve to one of leaders in Russia of the enterprises of nuclear sector for many years".
