Implementation project of WMS Logistics Vision Suite in MPO Wiring

Constantly expanding the range and regularly releasing in a series new product samples, company management "MPO Wiring" met difficulties in management of the wide range of goods in a warehouse that resulted in need of replacement of the existing management program for a warehouse by the new modern WMS system having the configured tools, effectively the managing director of warehouse processes.

The implementation project of WMS Logistics Vision Suite was implemented according to tasks ", MPO Wiring". The WMS Logistics Vision Suite setup, the basic module Warehouse Vision, is executed on 7 at the same time working users, as DBMS is used Oracle Database 11g, the used equipment: Motorola MC3190 data collection terminals, thermotransfer Zebra 105-SL printer.

The warehouse economy "Wiring" is located MPO on two floors and a zone of street storage. Products are stored on racks, cable products – in reels, bays and coils. On a warehouse complex several zones for processing and storage of goods are selected: acceptance, shipment, storage of collected orders, defects, a markdown, a quarantine, urgent storage, address storage is entered, own format of the address is developed for each zone. As a result of setup of a system processes of a warehouse complex were automated: acceptance, placement, movement, selection, packaging, shipment, inventory, are configured additional processes: rewind, packing, cross docking, urgent orders, is adjusted work with the rejected material and its further write-off. The module of batch print of documents is configured.

Specialists of ant Technologies implemented wide functionality of a system for high-quality management of a warehouse complex. All WMS LVS settings are made according to specifics of storage and processing of the wiring materials aimed at providing maximum speed and accuracy of order processing. Application of the new WMS LVS system allowed to raise the service level of clients and efficiency of personnel of the customer. Application of a system of barcoding helps to find quickly and precisely the necessary goods. Work online provides employees of a warehouse with necessary information on existence of goods, its characteristics, provides full control over merchandising.
