RTsIT integrates computing resources

On July 7, 2014 it became known of the project of a centralized system of processing and data storage implemented by Nvision Group company by request of state budgetary institution of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic "Republican Center of Infocommunication Technologies" (RCIT).

Project Tasks

The state budgetary institution of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic "Republican Center of Infocommunication Technologies" (RCIT) is responsible for automation of local public authorities. For upgrade of structures subordinated to it made the decision on creation of a centralized system of processing and data storage and consolidation of the used computing resources.

Project Progress

Within a year specialists of the contractor constructed modern data centers in eight uluses (areas) of the republic: Vilyuysk, Verkhnevilyuysky, Mountain, Megino-Kangalassky, Neryungrinsky, Ust-Aldansky, Hangalassky and Churapchinsky. The DPC is the cornerstone the equipment and software of world leading manufacturers: Cisco, Dell, Microsoft, DataStone, etc.

Project Results

"The project was difficult, but interesting. It was necessary to work in the areas remote from each other and the severe climate had an effect: frosts will strike, crossings will close. We overcame natural obstacles thanks to the competent organization, and a technical part to us helped to execute experience and knowledge acquired in similar projects, for example at upgrade of a health care system in the Novosibirsk region", – Pavel Kaminsky, the director of the branch of NVision Siberia noted.

"We are happy with results – competences of NVision Group allowed to meet all our requirements. The main advantages of the constructed data centers – high reliability and fault tolerance and also simplicity in service. Centralization of resources increases efficiency of IT services of our departments and electronic state services therefore the value of the project will be felt by all inhabitants of the region", – Gavril Afanasyev, the director of RTsIT noted.

A system passed tests and is put in operation. Project budget of 26 million rubles.
