1C: Quality Management System (1S:SMK) - this project is aimed at providing methodological assistance in the implementation of a quality management system based on the ISO9001 standard in companies included in the 1C: Franchising network.
The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of implementations of 1C: Enterprise software products, as well as the quality of services provided by franchisee firms.
Within the framework of the 1S:SMK project, a standard quality management system has been developed, which is a set of procedures (internal documents) regulating the work related to the implementation of 1C: Enterprises software products. The procedures are designed in such a way that during implementation the most complete quality control of work is achieved. The standard documentation package is a set of documented procedures, instructions, document forms and quality records that ensure the quality management of implementations, maintaining it at the proper level and continuous improvement.
The developed documentation is designed to facilitate the implementation of QMS in order to further develop it.
The logical completion of the quality system implementation process can be certification. Certification is a voluntary procedure that is carried out according to the ISO 9001 standard by a company with an appropriate license (accreditation). The presence of the company certificate indicates that the company is well organized, it clearly defines the duties, procedures, the technology of work is observed, there are operational instructions documented and known to all personnel, the procedure for monitoring the work performed and, of course, professional and well-trained personnel who are able to perform their work efficiently. In other words, it indicates that the company's quality system is able to ensure and improve the quality of its goods and services.
Building a quality system is a rather time-consuming process. Obviously, not all franchisee firms will approach certification at the same time, even if they started together due to objective circumstances, such as the structure of the company, regional features, staff training. But to build a quality system or introduce certain essential elements of a quality system, we urge all franchisees seeking to make their firm competitive in the information services market.
The certification process consists of two parts:
- Check the documentation related to the quality system for compliance with ISO 9001
- Checking the current quality system for its compliance with the submitted documentation.
1C provides voluntary certification of franchise firms according to the ISO 9001 standard. The creation of a quality system and certification will require additional costs from 1C and franchise firms. These costs should be paid off by increasing competitiveness as a result of quality growth. ISO 9001 certification is highly rated in Russia and abroad and provides additional marketing advantages to the implementation company.
The process of creating a quality system does not end with obtaining a certificate. This process continues throughout the existence of the firm. ISO 9000 series regulations require independent auditors to visit the company at least once a year and verify that the company is faithful to the principles of the standard. Otherwise, the certification may be invalidated.
Since the quality system is certified, it must be previously created by a franchisee company and must work. The use of the developments proposed by 1C within the framework of the 1S:SMK project will allow the franchisee to significantly reduce the cost of creating and certifying a quality system.
