2014: IZET supported the Safe City project in Cherepovets

The IZET company – one of federal providers of broadband access – supported the Safe City project in Cherepovets which is implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Within project implementation work on the analysis of the most abnormal sections of the city was done. In critical points where the maximum concentration of the road accidents was revealed, survey webcams are installed. The IZET company performed connection of these cameras to the Internet, thus, having provided broadcast of a road situation in real time.

"The developed infrastructure of network and modern telecommunication technologies allow IZET to provide high quality of video of broadcasting", – the director of representative office of IZET in Cherepovets Nail Hazimov says. – "Participation in implementation of such socially important project having important state value, certainly, is one of priority activities of our company".

According to Department of Internal Affairs of Cherepovets, thanks to installation of cameras, the transport situation in the city was stabilized, noted decrease in number of violations of traffic regulations and the road accidents. Moreover, on sections where the cameras are mounted, from the moment of the beginning of their work it was not recorded any road accident with death.
