On July 15, 2014 it became known of creation of multiservice network in the new perinatal center in Vladivostok. Allied Telesis company together with EKKER company executed this project.
Project Tasks
Within the "Development of Health Care of Primorsky Krai for 2014" program in Vladivostok the modern perinatal center in which the equipment of Allied Telesis company is used will open. Using this equipment the clinic can render the highly skilled help to patients.
Project Progress
The Allied Telesis company created a highly reliable and multiservice intelligent network of transfer easy to control with the maximum optimization of budgetary funds and the put possibility of further growth and scaling.
The core of network is provided by two L3 AT-SBx908 switches united in VCstack. Use of this technology helps to integrate two physical devices in one logical that facilitates management and setup: 2 switches are controlled as one. The VCstack technology means simultaneous operation of 2 devices – reservation of "active-active" at which all volume of traffic is dynamically distributed between switches. It solves a problem of "bottleneck" when all information is processed by one device, and in case of its exit out of operation, all network stops work. Use of two independent Allied Telesis AT-SBx908 switches in a core of network became the main competitive advantage in creation of such network that saved budgetary funds, saving performance and capacity.
Within implementation of multiservice network the network of digital video surveillance which helps to control a situation in real time is created. The core of network of video surveillance is created using the AT-x900 switches integrated for convenience of management and increase in fault tolerance in a stack. Key feature of a series of the Allied Telesis switches is the possibility of expanded management of QoS – prioritizing of traffic. Truly configured priorities for a different type of the traffic used within a single multiservice network guarantee correct system operation at the maximum load.
Project Results
"Development of solutions for health care is one of priority activities of Allied Telesis. More than 400 lead medical institutions worldwide, including Russia, and now and the perinatal center in Vladivostok, at equipment selection for creation of the networks of video transmission, a voice and data designed to upgrade and optimize crucial processes in medical institution, appreciated the technical solutions proposed by Allied Telesis company and gave them the preference," - Yury Belsky, the director of representative office of Allied Telesis in Russia and the CIS countries told.
