2016: DataStax Enterprise (DSE) 5.0
The version of DataStax Enterprise (DSE) 5.0 starting in June includes expanded functions of replication (which are especially demanded in applications for Internet of Things and retail) and upgraded version of Apache Spark for advanced search and analytics.
DSE Graph is a scalable graph database of real time for the applications requiring management of difficult data arrays. It was provided in April and offered as an option for DSE.
Also in June DataStax OpsCenter 6.0, the new version of a system of visual administration and monitoring for DSE which provides monitoring functions, thin setup of the database and memory allocation, function of backup and security was offered.
2014: DataStax Enterprise (DSE) 4.5
DataStax — one of a set of the startups disputing positions of widely accepted relational databases such Oracle Database as well as Microsoft SQL Server, offering architecture of DBMS of the next generation. The version of DSE 4.5 released at the end of June, 2014 includes technology of processing - in - memories of Apache Spark (within partnership with Databricks) which accelerates work of analytics of the real-time data DSE. The new automated diagnostic aids and settings of performance improve work of services of management. And for the first time the product is completely integrated with Hadoop (within partnership with Cloudera and Hortonworks) that gives the chance to integrate data of Cassandra with data from Hadoop and other sources and to combine operational and retrospective data for the analysis.
