Selectel Storage is the cloud storage of data.
The cloud storage of Selectel company is used for the solution of a broad spectrum of tasks: from storage of personal photos and backup copies to the organization of document flow of the small companies.
The user can keep any necessary number of data:
- backup copies,
- personal files,
- audio,
- video,
- different content for the websites.
Payment for the actual consumption is calculated from really taken place in storage, the outbound traffic, detailed information on write-off of means is provided.
All loaded files in file storage automatically are replicated on three independent servers. Control systems regularly execute integrity checking of the stored data and provide the high level of availability.
Files of users are stored in containers (folders of the first level) for which possibly to set type:
- private (personal) - files in such container will be available only to the owner;
- public - files will be open for the general access.
There is a possibility of a binding of the domain to a public container and distributions through it static data that will reduce link length.
Selectel Storage provides compatibility with the commonly accepted standard developed by RackSpace and NASA with examples of implementation in a set of programming languages (php, python, java, .Net, ruby).
