pulse infra-red searchlights of PIK series 100/I/n

In a line of the lighting equipment of Tireks company there were in the summer of 2014 pulse infra-red searchlights of PIK series 100/I/n which have the wavelength of 850 nanometers, radiation angles 10, 30, 60 and 90 ° and the power of a luminous flux of 44/66 W at impulses of 1.0/0.2 ms. New infrared lighters steadily work at external temperatures from-40 to +40 °C together with analog and IP cameras which are equipped with a TTL exit and support frame rate to 60 fps. At the same time lighters are completed with the console for fastening of the device on chamber housing or other surface and also the power supply and managements BPU-1 providing synchronization of their work with the surveillance camera.

The infrared models creating a luminous flux with the wavelength of 850 nanometers and radiation angle 10, 30, 60 and 90 ° which size is specified in the name of model enter this series of pulse searchlights: Tirex PEAK 100/I/10, 100/I/30, 100/I/60 and 100/I/90V. Irrespective of modification, infrared lighters are completed with the power supply and managements BPU-1, are capable to work smoothly at external temperatures from-40 to +40 °, and the small weight and dimensions allow to place them on one bracket with the camera. According to factory installations each lighter creates a luminous flux lasting 1 ms and 44 W and also provides switching to shorter impulse 0.2 ms (power of 66 W).

Synchronization of work of a tandem "the camera — an infra-red searchlight" is performed via the power supply and managements BPU-1 with the compact metal GAINTA-118 body which is included in the delivery of all Tirex models of PIK series 100/I/n. It activates infrared lighters at receipt on them of a signal from cameras. At the same time connection of an IK-searchlight to the IP camera is performed through a TTL exit, and their synchronization is automatic by means of the command impulse of positive polarity with tension of 3-10 V arriving on the BPU-1 block. Unlike network cameras, manual adjustment of BPU-1 under specific model is necessary for correct work of lighters of Tirex with analog cameras.

The pulsed mode of work of infra-red searchlights of PIK 100/I/n provides them with several advantages in front of the devices performing continuous IK-illumination of a zone of video surveillance. Joining on a signal from cameras for time necessary for charge accumulation on their matrix, pulse infrared lighters quickly give big current therefore their force is 4-7 times higher than radiation on LEDs, and power consumption is 75% less, than at sources of continuous IK-illumination in video surveillance systems. Moreover, thanks to a pulsed mode of work lighters do not overheat and do not demand application of massive radiators for dispersion of heat.

PIK Tirex models 100/I/n in the systems of video control of fast-moving objects will be especially effective. For example, these infrared devices can be installed together with the cameras performing video filming on the highways, in particular, fixing speeding and other traffic offenses as they increase the accuracy of identification of registration signs of cars. Along with it, infrared lighters will allow to improve quality of video in the systems of protection of perimeter or video control of the fast-proceeding technology processes on industrial enterprises, etc. Also lighters of Tirex support a stroboscopic operation mode that profitable selects them among many analogs.

Pulse infra-red searchlights of PIK series 111K2 and PEAK 12K2

The ARMO-Systems company provided in April, 2011 universal IK-searchlights of Tireks of PIK 11K2 and PEAK 12K2 for infrared illumination of a zone of video surveillance at a lack of lighting. New products are intended for joint work with megapixel cameras and models of standard permission based on a CCD and CMOS sensors, both in premises, and on the street. Due to application of LEDs with Large Surface construction, these infra-red searchlights create more dense luminous flux with the wavelength of 850 nanometers, viewing angles 30 °/80 ° and with a range up to 100 m. Both models of a new series are steady against voltage surges, a polarity reversal and overheating and also are supplied with the photosensor for inclusion/switching off of devices at achievement of an illumination level of threshold value.

The effective optical system which is applied in PIK 11K2/PIK 12K2 allows to use new IK-searchlights in video surveillance systems with high quality requirements of the image at low illumination on an object. In new models LEDs like Large Surface with the wavelength of the radiation of 850 nanometers and optics with the high collecting capability which provide uniform distribution of an infrared luminous flux with a corner of illumination 30 °/80 °, respectively are used. At the same time infra-red searchlights of PIK 11K2 can perform illumination of objects at distance to 10-15 m from the camera with a corner 80 °.

The image from the camera when installing IK-searchlights of Tirex is characterized significantly by a bigger detalizirovannost and clearness with the minimum level of noise, and videos differ in bigger informational content irrespective of camera sensor type (a CCD or CMOS). At the same time the range of illumination which is provided by infra-red searchlights, is defined by sensitivity of a matrix of the camera. For example, extreme reach of a searchlight of PIK 11K2 for the camera with sensitivity of 0.08 lx makes 50 m, and PIK 12K2 — 35 of m. For the camera with sensitivity of 0.003 lx the range of illumination of PIK 11K2 can reach 100 m, and PIK 12K2 — 70 of m.

Process of inclusion and switching off of infrared light emitting diodes of a searchlight is controlled by the built-in photosensor and performed automatically, and the controller of the photosensor ensures stable functioning of a searchlight at impermanent updates of an illumination level in the boundary range. Besides, new infra-red searchlights support function of Antifara thanks to which switching off of IK-illumination at a short-term flare of the photosensor, for example, car headlights, can be delayed up to 120 seconds.

For a power supply of PIK 11K2 and PEAK 12K2 it is possible to use istochniki10.5-16 In a direct current. Thanks to it, searchlights can be powered from uninterruptible power supply units with voltage output from 13 to 14 V and not react to voltage drop on the bringing wires. Irrespective of model, infra-red searchlights are equipped with the system of protection against short-term voltage surges with an amplitude up to 60 V. Besides, all infrared models have protection against giving of tension of the return polarity, and save the working capacity in case of the wrong connection of supply cables.

Thanks to high utilization properties, infra-red searchlights of Tirex are optimal for joint work with cameras of high resolution in premises and difficult street conditions as the range of their working temperatures is from – 50 to + 40 °C. The body of a searchlight of PIK 11K2 and PEAK 12K2 is a monoblock from aluminum alloy with a cooling radiator which provides the effective heat sink and long term of service of LED radiators. At the same time the searchlight of PIK 11K2 (with a corner of illumination 30 °) will be most effective for illumination of perimeter of an object of video surveillance, and PIK model 12K2 (with a corner 80 °) – for illumination of the territory of an object.

2015: IR searchlights of PIK series 400

The range of devices of the Russian company "Tireks" was filled up with spring of 2015 of IK by searchlights of PIK series 400 which have the body with a class of protection IP66, are supplied with the power source and the heater, and intended for joint work with outdoor video surveillance cameras in the temperature range from-50 to +50 °C. Due to existence of function of Antifara effective street IK illumination is performed without spontaneous switchings. All searchlights of PIK series 400 have the photosensor for automatic switch-on and switching off of illumination, are issued in the form of the single and dual module and provide radiation angles from 10 ° up to 180 ° and range from 45 to 280 m. Smooth operation of PIK 400 in street conditions is ensured because these IK searchlights have the metal body with climatic protection of IP66 and are completed with power supplies performed by Arctic with the built-in heaters. Thanks to it, stable street IK illumination became possible with rather broad range of external temperatures from -50 ° up to +50 °. It should be noted that at unimodular models the photosensor for automatic switch-on and switching off of IK of illumination is located in the searchlight body, and at doubled — in the power supply.

Process of inclusion and switching off of LEDs of IK of a searchlight is performed automatically and controlled by the built-in photosensor tracing an illumination level on street object of video surveillance. For prevention of accidental switchings of PIK 400 at a short-term flare of the photosensor, for example, headlights of the passing cars or other light sources from which street IK illumination will spontaneously join and be switched off, provide function of Antifara. With its help it is possible to delay switching off of illumination for 90 seconds.

The wide lineup of PIK devices 400 allows to pick up street model with optimal lighting parameters. So, if street IK is necessary illumination of the zones remote from the camera on 100 or 200 meters then is recommended to select searchlights of PIK 400 A10 or PIK 400 A30 which provide corners of illumination 10 ° and 30 °, respectively. With them it is possible to perform night video control of perimeter or of the objects having the extended form. For illumination of the objects deleted at distance of 60-70 meters from a camera installation site, searchlights of average range, such as PIK 400 A60 and PIK 400 A90 will become the optimal choice.

Dual IK searchlights are the most universal lighting instruments of a new series as they have two fiber units and allow to change a corner and range of radiation with the broad ranges. At their use street IK illumination is regulated already on site installations. Dual searchlights are delivered in modifications of PIK 400 A10x20, A30x60, A60x120, A90x180 and A10x90, flows with corners from 10 ° -20 °, 30 ° -60 °, 60 ° -120 °, 90 ° -180 ° and 10 ° -90 °, and with a range of illumination 280-140, 150-100, 100-70, 70-50 and 100-45 meters, respectively create IK.

Use in street IK searchlights of PIK of 400 highly effective infrared light emitting diodes with the minimum energy consumption allows to cut down operating expenses and service maintenance of these devices in the long term. At consumption no more than 40/80 W one/two-modular searchlights provide powerful uniform street IK video surveillance zone illumination with a possibility of adjustment of corners of illumination from 10 ° to 180 ° and ranges up to 280 meters that is rather important in the conditions of outside video surveillance.
