2020: Agreement of ZTZ and MMK on complete transition to electronic document management
On August 18, 2020 between "The Zagorsk pipe plant" and Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works the agreement of intent completely was signed to pass to electronic document management by the end of 2021.
The document was signed by the parties within the first online coordination council which was carried out since Monday August 17 till Tuesday, August 18. For the first time the coordination council passed completely in online a format without visit by delegations of production sites in view of action of the restrictive measures operating in the territory of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
Within arrangements, the companies intend to implement a number of joint projects in digitalization which will allow to solve this problem in time. Electronic document management will affect such areas as exchange of logistic documents at the level of corporate information systems on EDI technologies (Electronic data interchange), legally significant electronic document management by primary accounting documentation with integration of Kontur.Diadok and also the solution of financial questions using the Circuit electronic platform. Except agreement signature about complete transition to digital document flow, also within coordination council of the company discussed a number of questions, directed to increase in efficiency of interaction. Among key – mastering of perspective steel grades, cost reduction by production and transportation of rolling and also perspective deliveries became from a camp of 2500 after its reconstruction.

2014: End of a pilot project on implementation of e-document flow
On July 29, 2014 the SKB Kontur company announced end of a pilot project on implementation of electronic document management (e-document flow) on Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works. The project is resolved on the Kontur.Diadok platform.
Project Tasks
At the end of 2013 on MMK made the decision on transition to external electronic document management.
As the operator of e-document flow the SKB Kontur company with the Kontur.Diadok system is selected.
Project Progress
Transition of MMK to e-document flow began at the end of 2013 when the iron and steel works started a pilot project on exchange with the contractors of electronic invoices and primary documents. The pilot was carried out on the Docsvision platform using the Diadoc system.
Project Results
In May, 2014 MMP-Informservice, society of group of MMK, for the first time signed and sent invoices in electronic form and acts of the performed works on service agreements with MMK.
"Large enterprises, such as Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, cannot refuse paper suddenly. It is necessary to rebuild business processes, to integrate the EDMS with programs which are used at the enterprise. Transition to electronic documents can take up to several years half a year" — Anton Gilfanov, the Kontur.Diadok project manager in Chelyabinsk region told.
"By our estimates, one paper document costs 80 rubles (printing, courier services, sending the registered mail and so forth). Processing of the electronic document costs only 10 rubles. Upon complete transition to electronic document management the company will save more than 10 million rubles a year" — Evgeny Yakimenko, the senior manager of department of corporate developments of MMP-Informservice company noted.
