On July 30, 2014 a goal specialists of The First BIT company announced project completion of implementation of the customized BIT software application. STROITELSTVO in the Izhevsk branch of Uralelektromontazh company.
Project Tasks
Prior to the beginning of the project at the enterprise 2 software solutions were used:
- one was applied to conducting inventory accounting,
- the second - accounting.
Because of partial coincidence of the specified areas of accounting and also the being available problems with data exchange between two programs the staff of Uralelektromontazh had to process twice receipt and issue documents on a warehouse. When conducting inventory accounting errors arose time, and the speed of this process did not satisfy company management. Operations on closing of month (to calculation of a profit or loss in a month) had to be performed in the manual mode. Besides, the construction company had no opportunity to keep separate account on each object of works, being needs of nature for the organizations of this field of activity.
Trying to resolve these questions the management of the Izhevsk branch of Uralelektromontazh addressed to The First BIT company. Specialists of integrator offered the customer the BITS program. STROITELSTVO also used it in an implementation project, having assigned to it functions of two products.
Project Progress
Specialists of the First BIT in the project lasting less than two months automated, using the specialized software solution, work of a warehouse and accounting of branch of the construction company. Transfer of databases of old programs, setup of data exchange with the program for payroll and training of all users of a new system is executed.
Use of the solution BITS. STROITELSTVO allowed the staff of the Izhevsk branch of Uralelektromontazh to keep separate account on each object of works. The item-by-item accounting so significant for the construction organizations, in turn allowed the company to manage more effectively business, authentically estimating a situation on each of sections (including the analysis of a cost structure and a financial result).
Reduction for 40% of time of processing of receipt and issue documents became result of use of a new system. The quantity of errors decreased. The vast majority of the transactions connected with closing of month are transferred from the manual mode to automatic. Against the background of increase in efficiency of accounting activity all this allowed the company to cut down the staff of accountants on one employee.
