Viewing cameras through mobile clients

From the Line server via mobile devices (the PDA, the mobile phone) the DevLine company developed the special software available to free downloading for watching video.

At the moment there is an opportunity to browse the image from video cameras via different mobile devices:

Video surveillance on mobile phones (J2ME platform)

The simplest option, is suitable for use practically on all mobile phones. It is possible to perform online viewing and to manage PTZ. At the moment version 4.7 is relevant.

Video surveillance on iPhone (for iOS 5.0 above)

The full-fledged client allows to browse at the same time up to 16 cameras online, to manage PTZ using the touchscreen function, to save the personnel in memory of iPhone, to listen to a sound from microphones. Line 7.0, along with function of viewing cameras in real time, is available to software users function of viewing archive, with a possibility of multiviewing to 16 cameras. At the moment version 1.5.0 is relevant.

Video surveillance on iPad

The client allows to watch at the same time video from 16 cameras, to manage PTZ using the touchscreen function, to save the personnel in memory of the tablet PC, to listen to a sound from microphones. Thanks to the special software it is possible to get access to the server worldwide and not only, to watch video from cameras, but also to manage rotating devices. Line 7.0, along with function of viewing cameras in real time, is available to software users function of viewing archive, with a possibility of multiviewing to 16 cameras. At the moment version 1.5.0 is relevant.

Video surveillance on smartphones (Windows Phone)

The client allows to watch at the same time video from 6 cameras, to manage PTZ using the touchscreen function, to save the personnel in memory of the tablet PC. Now further application programming for Windows Phone is suspended. At the moment version 1.1.2.0 is relevant.

Video surveillance on tablets (Android OS)

Full-fledged management of PTZ using the touchscreen function, simultaneous watching video from 16 cameras, access to the server are also available also to users of the tablet PCs working with Android OS worldwide. Line 7.0, along with function of viewing cameras in real time, is available to software users function of viewing archive, with a possibility of multiviewing to 16 cameras. At the moment version 1.5.3 is relevant.

Video surveillance on smartphones (Android OS)

In a possibility of the client software program for Android OS "multiservernost", control of PTZ cameras using the touchscreen function, viewing up to 16 cameras at the same time online, listening a sound from microphones, preserving of a frame enters memory of the mobile device. Line 7.0, along with function of viewing cameras in real time, is available to software users function of viewing archive, with a possibility of multiviewing to 16 cameras. At the moment version 1.5.3 is relevant.

Video surveillance on smartphones (Windows mobile OS)

The client developed especially for work with Windows Mobile OS allows to conduct full video surveillance online, to develop video broadcast from the camera in the full-screen mode, to manage PTZ, using the touchscreen function, to save the personnel in memory of the mobile device. Now further application programming for Windows Mobile is suspended. At the moment version 2.8 is relevant.

History

2014: "IP line" is the new version of the mobile client for Android 1.3.0

On August 1, 2014 the DevLine company announced release, within the system of a videnoablyudeniye IP Line, the new version of the mobile client for Android 1.3.0 OS.

In this version of the client the possibility of fast check of the status of the server is implemented.

If the server is switched off or is not available because of problems with network connection, near it the corresponding icon is displayed.

When using Line Cloud service the application remembers the status of servers at the last connection.

The choice of a display mode of cameras on the general grid of types is added:

• online - (display of video in real time),
• the preview - (display of the first received frame)
• the text - (display of a name of the camera).

In release are corrected:

• Error at which the sound from the browsed camera continued to be reproduced even after closing of the camera.
• Error at which there was no opportunity to switch-off all servers which are in the list.
• Error at which during long work with the application the camera on the first channel was switched-off.
• Small defects of the user interface are modified.
