The warehouse of the distributive center of Santreyd-service company began operation of the warehouse management system OHE.WMS v4. System implementation of OHE.WMS was performed by forces of the company "A2 Consulting" and "ConsID Technologies", Moscow.

During the project problems of traffic control of a trade flow, the cost accounting, time and cost value of accomplishment of warehouse transactions, reduction of costs for accomplishment of warehouse transactions, performance improvement of work, capacity of storage and capacity of a warehouse, speed and quality of goods issue, ensuring transparency of work of a warehouse and other indicators of functioning of a warehouse were solved.

Characteristics of an object
Warehouse type: Distributive center, Construction and finishing materials.
Total area: 15,000 sq.m.
Storage: 3000 sq.m.
Nomenclature positions - 6,500 articles
Shipments in day: 2,500 lines.
Goods turnover: shipment of 35% - piece, 45% - boxed, 20% - pallet, 2,000 order lines in day, work with measured goods, cutting of rolls of linoleum, oversized goods. Account is kept both in the whole units of measure (packagings), and in fractional. Operation mode: 2 changes on 8 h.
Users: 20 shipping documentations.

In the project progress specialists of ConsID Technologies and A2 Consulting company performed full automation of all requirements stated to work of a warehouse for each group of goods.

For different groups of goods the different strategy of management of a trade flow connected with processing of the diverse range were implemented. The unique algorithms of processing of goods allowing to use optimum an address space and to minimize the costs connected with processing were developed for each warehouse. At the same time processing of goods of each warehouse closely interacts among themselves.

Goods acceptance
Acceptance processes by the piece, on-palletno on cartridges (mono / a mix), acceptance of rolls are implemented.

Order placement in selection
For minimization of actions of a dispecher in a system automatic reservation of orders is configured. From a corporate system there is an opportunity to add and delete at WMS lines in the order (with auto-reservation) up to shipment of the order. It allows to service with higher quality clients and to minimize the costs connected with accomplishment of orders. The order automatically is divided into lists on groups of goods and warehouses that gives the chance to parallelize processing of one order and to minimize the term of its execution.

Work with measured goods
OHE.WMS is configured for work with measured goods on acceptance transactions, movements, selection, checks, inventories and for execution of operations of cutting of rolls of linoleum in OHE.WMS. Separately it should be noted work with linoleum rolls.

"The special algorithm on work with measured goods is successfully implemented that from the first days of implementation more allowed than to increase the processing speed of orders by 20%", Sergey Zhizha, the associate director on development sums up the results of the first days of operation of a warehouse management system.

Integration with 1C
Within the project of automation integration of OHE.WMS with a corporate system 1C 7 was made. The full range of integration of the OHE.WMS and 1S system is carried out: loading of the reference book of goods, loading of the reference book of partners, loading of orders for arrival, an expense and runs, loading of inventory programs, loading of works orders on linoleum cutting, unloading of status files with confirmation of loading of documents from 1C in WMS, unloading of the statuses of change of receipt and account orders, unloading of results of acceptance and shipment of orders, unloading of results of inventory adjustment and carrying out tasks of inventory, unloading of results of accomplishment of works orders on cutting of rolls.

Start technique in operation
For risk minimization for the beginning of operation the special technique of start on groups of goods and warehouses was developed. This technique allowed to automate a warehouse (warehouses) without the slightest decrease in volume of shipments, without stress and discomfort for personnel of a warehouse and clients of the company. In the quiet mode to train all personnel of a warehouse and to transfer work of a warehouse to the full-function mode within one month (in 4 stages on number of the main to categories of goods).

Motivation of personnel
System implementation of management of a warehouse will allow to use further statistical data for development of a system of motivation of employees. This module was purchased by the Santreyd-service company therefore calculation and use of standards of processing of transactions as a motivational component in wage fund of employees will be the next stage.

Module of monitoring of critical actions
For tracking of the appearing problems of functioning of a system connected with exceeding of ultimate loads and incorrect work of users the Notification module is configured, in case of problems there is a mailing by e-mail. As a result specialists of the companies ConsID Technologies and A2 Consulting localize errors and propose solutions on the arisen problems in real time.

For maintenance of a DB in optimum operating state automatic procedures of transfer and archiving of outdated data for the period of time are configured.
