North Caucasian legal institute (branch)

The North Caucasian legal institute in the territory of the Karachay-Cherkess republic was formed by the order of the Head of Department of the higher education of the Russian Federation No. 642 of June 16, 2009. In spite of the fact that SKYuI – young university, it has the history, the created traditions and characteristics. The institute is the only profile legal university in the region which main task is training of highly qualified and competitive legal personnel for the South of Russia. At institute training at the expense of means of the federal budget of citizens from all republics of the North Caucasus is provided. In addition to children from Karachay-Cherkessia, today representatives of Stavropol Krai, Dagestan, Ingushetia, North and South Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Kalmykia study here. For this reason among primary before university there are problems of formation of the harmonious international and interfaith relations, education of feeling of mutual respect and empathy among students.

"Saratov State Academy of Law" is a global strategic objective of creation of the North Caucasian legal institute (branch) of FSBEI of a Higher Professional Education formation of the modern and competitive scientific and education center which is organically integrated into program implementation of the innovative development of the region providing steady reproduction of the personnel of national elite of the South of Russia capable to fulfill mechanisms of upgrade of profile higher legal education in the North Caucasian region.

For achievement of strategic objectives of activity the Institute takes the following principles as a basis:

maintenance and development of level, standards and quality of education, the continuous updating of content of education meeting the modern requirements on the basis of educational programs of Saratov State Academy of Law

• ensuring system integration of scientific research and educational process, innovation of training;
• ensuring effective functioning of institute as the systems of continuous preparation, retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of law;
• formation of anti-corruption consciousness and behavior at all subjects of educational process, formation at pupils of broad humanitarian culture, high moral and patriotic qualities;
• development of a system of life-long, multilevel, remote education;
• gain of work on attraction to educational process of potential employers taking into account their requirements when developing educational programs, to carrying out external quality evaluation of education and research work in university.

The contingent of students makes 439 people. At institute 37 teachers work, including 4 doctors of science, 18 candidates of science, an ostepenennost make 60%.
