System implementation of electronic document management in JSC Klimov JSC Klimov — the leading Russian developer of turbine jets famous around the world. Is a part of United Engine Corporation (JSC UK UEC) – 100% of subsidiary company JSC UIC OBORONPROM on management of engine-building assets. is engaged in development, maintenance of serial production and service maintenance of engines for the majority of helicopters of the brand Mil and Kamov, jet engines for destructive aircraft. Locating own design office, perfect production and experimental bases, the company is the only developer of turbine jets of a full stroke in Russia: from the center line before certification.

Choosing a Solution

In 2006 the company management made the decision on the beginning of the project on system implementation of electronic document management and interaction management based on the DIRECTUM system. Control of performing discipline, creation of archive of electronic documents and an exception of a possibility of their loss became key tasks.

Solution (description)

In JSC Klimov in the DIRECTUM system the main divisions of the enterprise work. In particular, work of office is completely automated: registration of correspondence is configured, control of the movement of the entering and outgoing documents is organized. The uniform archive of electronic images of external and internal documents is created. Since 2009 consulting and methodical support of the project is performed by Northwest regional department of Galaktika corporation - expert center of corporation on EDMS. At the beginning of 2013, after the analysis of functional and technical capabilities of the version of DIRECTUM 4.8, the decision on transition to the new version of a system was made.

Results

Today in the DIRECTUM system Top managers of JSC Klimov work. At the enterprise active work on connection to an electronic document management system of new users is conducted. In the next plans for development of a system – the organization of remote access of the management and the employees to the DIRECTUM system using the module of Web access of DIRECTUM.
