Compensator scientific and production enterprise (Directum (EDMS/ECM system))

JSC Kompensator Scientific and Production Enterprise is founded in 1981 in St. Petersburg. Now it is one of the largest Russian producers of compensation devices taking the leading positions in the segment of the market. The sylphon compensators made by the plant successfully it is operated on all types of pipelines in the different fields of the industry: shipbuilding, housing and public utilities, power, oil processing, metallurgy, etc.

Choosing a Solution

Maintaining big base of contacts with clients, need of control of execution of tasks and instructions, registration of official correspondence and also accounting of agreements and other documents led company management to search of ways of optimization of workflows. According to the results of market research and negotiations with different suppliers of EDMS specialists of the scientific and production enterprise selected the DIRECTUM system as the most full meeting all necessary requirements. The Northwest division of Galaktika corporation - expert center of corporation on EDMS became system provider and services.

Solution

For initial assessment of a system the company management signed the agreement on testing of DIRECTUM for applicability of functionality for use in JSC NPP Kompensator. at This Stage in Training Center of Northwest Regional Department of Corporation Galaktika the customer's specialist was trained, and employees of the partner made setup of the most significant business processes on the test version of a system. After its approbation by the management "NPP Kompensator made the decision on the beginning of implementation of DIRECTUM. During the project of automation the following tasks were set: creation of electronic archive of documents; automation of work of office; automation of a contracted work; interaction management system implementation with clients; ensuring control of performing discipline.

Result

At the moment the main objectives of the project are implemented. Maintaining in EDMS DIRECTUM customer interaction, work with agreements and work of office is established. In a system about 20 people work.
