Migration of the automated banking system Migration of the automated banking system (ABS) is Retail bank (RBS) on the IBM System p platform on the basis of IBM POWER6 processors.

Project Progress
Within two months the bank with the assistance of specialists of CROC carried out test migration of RBS on a demo equipment, including check of operability of all basic functions of a system on the new platform. For carrying out test migration of CFT of RBS CROC set in URSA Bank of a demo server IBM p570/16 CPU Power5 + 2.2GHz and EMC Clariion demo storage system.
Along with carrying out test migration specialists of CROC installed the new server of bank, IBM p570 on the latest IBM Power6 4,7GHz processor. Final tests for preparation for working migration were carried out already on it. Also at this time upgrade of storage system of EMC Clariion of bank was implemented.
The working migration performed by CROC jointly with specialists of bank took less than two days and was carried out to the weekend, without change of the normal diagram of customer service.
