Passazhiravtotrans will equip with the M2M-equipment 2 thousand buses in St. Petersburg

On August 18, 2014 JSC Mobile TeleSystems announced a victory in the tender of SPb to SUE PJSC Passazhiravtotrans on rendering telematic services for aircraft navigation equipment of public motor transport.

Project Tasks

According to technical specifications, more than 2 thousand passenger buses of city and suburban routes of St. Petersburg will be equipped with SIM cards of the operator for remote monitoring of location.

"The state enterprises and business structures of St. Petersburg effectively use for a long time navigation systems for control of location of transport. As shows experiment in general across Russia, possibilities of M2M-services allow to reduce transportation costs of the organization on average by 20 percent.
