Dr.Web LiveDisk is means of disaster recovery and treatment of the PC running Windows OS.
On August 16, 2014 Doctor Web Company announced release of software of disaster recovery and treatment of the PC - Dr.Web LiveDisk.
In the software solution the technologies acquired in the products Dr.Web LiveCD and LiveUSB gained further development. The single technology platform applied in the products Dr.Web to Windows allows the LiveDisk program to check the hosts file, to scan files using a cloud service of Dr.Web Cloud, to use algorithms of detecting of rootkits and butkit.

LiveDisk is equipped by the editor of the register of Windows who can change parameters of all OS of Windows installed at the workstation. The structure of software includes a set of heuristic algorithms using which treatment of the register of Windows for infections with malware is carried out.
