2017: HPE will build in Mesosphere DC/OS hybrid cloud solutions
At the beginning of 2017 Hewlett Packard Enterprise reported that it will become reseller DC/OS — Open Source-платформы of Mesosphere company for application development, managements of containers and scalings of the hybrid HPE cloud[1].
In 2016 Mesosphere received 73.5 mln. dollars in a financing C-round. The division of venture investments of HPE was one of her investors.
Under the terms of the transaction HPE will be reseller Mesosphere with which it also has an OEM agreement. In it the provision Mesosphere DC/OS is registered in a hybrid corporate stack.
HPE is going to integrate the solution Mesosphere with the servers, storage systems and services. In the beginning it will earn from the HPE Proliant servers with Linux (DC/OS can be used in any Linux Wednesday).
In the field of data storage of HPE is going to integrate DC/OS into 3PAR StoreServ constructed entirely on a flash memory, and the program configured StoreVirtual Storage applications. Also the divisions of HPE which are engaged in service of containers and to consultations on their use will be engaged in integration of software of Mesosphere.
In the corporate blog HPE notes that the agreement with Mesosphere will help customers to unroll modern applications, including for Big Data, to manage resources and to scale the solutions.
