PocketBook SurfPad 4

The PocketBook company provided in the summer of 2014 the product line of PocketBook SURFpad 4 consisting of three 8-core tablets running the latest Android operating system 4.4 KitKat.

The uniqueness of a line is that all three models will be on sale at uniform price. Thus, within the new concept of PocketBook, the leader is determined not by the price now, and by the screen size whereas the price and the majority of other characteristics of devices in a line are identical. Such concept, according to PocketBook company, allows to simplify the choice of the tablet. Future owner should decide only on the screen size, without trying to reach compromise between types of screens, suitable characteristics and the price. In own way it is the first experience which is intended to change the current pricing policy. The PocketBook company often becomes the pioneer, offering users new technologies. And this time the company offered also new approach to the choice of the device which considerably simplifies life to future owners of tablets. At the same time for today PocketBook – first and the only company in the world which offered to the world a line of devices with different diagonals of screens, but with uniform price.

Tablets of the PocketBook SURFpad 4 series received the alphabetic name depending on the size of diagonal of screens. So, the most miniature 7-inch representative of a line is called PocketBook SURFpad 4 S, the tablet with diagonal 7.85' – PocketBook SURFpad of 4 M, and the device with screen 9.7' – PocketBook SURFpad 4 L. IPS Retina screens with high resolution 2048х1536 are installed in the PocketBook SURFpad 4 M and L models, and 7-inch version S received the screen with the resolution of 1920х1200 which exceeds the Full HD format a little. The screen aspect ratio in model S makes 4:10 p.m., and in the M and L models - 4:3.

Devices are equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB on the internal flash drive that will be enough practically for any purposes: watching movies, in-ternet-surfing, navigation, reading books, start of the most modern games. In addition available the slot for micro SDHC and SDXC cards. Also all three models are equipped with the built-in GPS. On joy to fans of games all three tablets have the high-performance 4-core graphic processor. At the same time in tablets the new MT8392 processor is used. PocketBook SURFpad 4 L received the sverkhjyomky battery on 8000 mAh while accumulators on 4000 mAh which are quite enough for long to active work with the device are installed in PocketBook SURFpad 4 M and PocketBook SURFpad 4 S.

New devices are equipped with two cameras: the main (8 Megapixels) with an auto focus for creation of qualitative pictures of high resolution and frontal (2 Megapixels) focusfree – for video calls. Loudspeakers on the front surface on each side of the screen provide volume stereosounding. Also new line of PocketBook SURFpad 4 will receive a branded packet of pre-installed applications of PocketBook. Complete with tablets the corporate charger of PocketBook on 2A and USB a cable is delivered.

On sale in Russia new powerful PocketBook SURFpad 4 tablets are expected in the middle of the fall of 2014. The recommended retail price on all three devices will be uniform - 8990 rubles.

Since January, 2015 the software update (version 1.0.136) which will allow to enjoy deeper and surround sound when listening online is available to all users of PocketBook SURfpad 4.
