APC Smart-UPS SMC

APC Smart UPS SMC are devices of new generation of the UPS of initial level for protection of servers and network equipment.

On August 27, 2014 the Schneider Electric company announced the beginning of sales in Russia and the CIS countries of uninterruptible power supply units of new generation of the Smart UPS SMC series with a power of 2000 and 3000 VA. All models of this line provide "a net signal of a sinusoidal form" during the work from the battery and are equipped with the LCD display for control of work and condition monitoring of power supply and the battery.

The APC Smart UPS SMC series is intended for protection of servers and network equipment against unstable power supply. In addition to the UPSes with a power of 1000 and 1500 VA announced in 2013, the SMC series was replenished with the 2000 and 3000 VA new products capable to provide load of 1300 and 2100 W respectively.

New UPSes are delivered in form factors for floor installation (articles of SMC2000I and SMC3000I) and 2U high for installation in a rack (articles of SMC2000I-2U and SMC3000RMI2U), completed with IEC320 C13 sockets in quantity from four to eight pieces and IEC340 C19 sockets for models with a power of 3000 VA. The built-in LCD display informs on parameters of loading, operating time in a standalone mode.

New UPSes work from network at a tension in the range from 170 V to 300 V, are equipped with USB port and a simple serial port for contact with the computer or the server. The special key for shutdown of the battery allows to avoid discharging of the battery at long storage and to perform transportation of the device safely. All devices of a series are equipped with the reusable automatic safety lock.

New products are available in the territory of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. On all new products guaranty period lasting 2 years is provided.
