According to representatives of the company, a main objective of creation of ISUP KS is cost reduction and reduction of terms of a construction of objects of nuclear power. The positive effect is reached due to unification and process automation of management of capital construction, coordination with projects and project portfolios of Rosatom, optimization of procedures of management of a construction of the NPP, increase in efficiency of interaction of all participants of construction, cutting of costs for supply of equipment and materials and ensuring effective management of reporting information.

ISUP KS functions on the basis of the SAP ERP platform. To automate specialized business processes Atomenergoproekt as engineering company, completions and changes which consider planning, control, accounting, the analysis of terms and design costs were made to the basic version of the platform including processes of management of purchases and sale, accounting and tax accounting, treasury; management of installation and construction works; management of an equipment complete set, deliveries and many others.

Atomenergoproekt explains that the complexity of implementation of ISUP KS consisted that it changes not only a form of work with information, but also business processes.

Implementation Progress

According to the edition of Rosatom devoted to the program of transformation of IT in state corporation, originally the project was started at the end of 2010. The capital construction department of Rosatom, Atomenergoproekt and Rosenergoatom Concern acted as customers. Existence of two separate subsystems which were closely integrated among themselves was feature of the first option: ISUP KS (I) for AEP and ISUP KS (E) for the customer on behalf of Rosenergoatom.

By March, 2012 a system for Atomenergoproekt was designed, but in connection with reforms of capital construction department of work on it were suspended.

At the beginning of 2013 on management board of the project the decision on resumption of work on system implementation in Atomenergoproekt was made. It was decided to start a system according to the temporary scheme having not all solutions implemented in a prototype. It was connected with the fact that Atomenergoproekt is a general contractor of construction of the second queue of the New Voronezh NPP. The project of a construction was in the most intense phase and had a large number of legacy data since the beginning of construction which did not correspond to a transaction system.

As of the end of August, 2014 in the company the so-called period of stabilization of a system comes to the end and the period of normal operation begins. For this moment of ISUP KS integrates 896 users, 90 of which are key. Problems of the last include support of end users and also completion and improvement of a system.

The important role in start of ISUP KS was played by key users, said in the edition of Rosatom. At a development stage they acted as business experts, and by the time of transfer of a system to operation there was a need for training of additional key users whose tasks were a support of end users and development of a system.
