Creation of a monitoring system of IR began with assessment of the market of suppliers of this solution: we defined vendor products based on which creation of a monitoring system of IR is possible and also looked at the implemented solutions at colleagues from the financial sector. As a result stopped on four products: CA Wily Introscope (EGAR), Progress Actional Management Server (PROGRESS), IBM Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server, HP BAC (HP BSM). Considering that the ready monitoring systems of the integration solution allowing to monitor not only the hardware and system level, but also level of business transactions, does not exist, it was important to attract to the project of an intergator with experience of implementation of the similar systems. We needed the basic vendor product plus integrator having necessary competences and experience of implementation. After the choice of basic products pilot mini-projects on which contractors showed possibilities of products – both basic, and focused on our infrastructure were carried out. Based on these works we stopped on two solutions – based on IBM Tivoli and HP BSM on which closed competition of the choice of the contractor and a vendor product was held. For ensuring bigger objectivity in the course of tender, the third-party company developed criteria model of the choice. Certainly, not only functionality of basic products, but also their cost taking into account necessary completions and also competences and experience of contractors were considered. The victory was won by the Cinimex company which proposed the solution based on IBM Tivoli with which we also opened the project on creation of a monitoring system of the integration solution. One of positive, though not establishing, the moments at determination of the winner was the fact that the Cinimex company was a developer of the integration solution for Nordea Bank. In implementation process of the project the Cinimex company showed a clear understanding of that, monitoring for effective solution of assigned tasks should be how exactly constructed. The project consisted of several stages. At the first stage technical documentation on a monitoring system was developed. At the same time, as the integration solution should be scalable, the document defining requirements to systems which will be connected further to IR was developed. It allowed not to finish a monitoring system at connection to IR of the new systems, and to consider these requirements at a stage of preparation for connection. The project was technically difficult. Actually this unique solution developed specifically for our bank. At the same time practices which were implemented allow to make, at certain efforts, the solution standard. The monitoring system of IR in Nordea Bank allows to control in the automatic mode passing of business transactions through IR, to monitor possible failures at all levels (hardware, system, applied, business transactions), in the online mode visually to reflect possible failures in DashBoard, on an art work to localize the place of their manifestation, to reflect everything a log, connected with failure. And finally allows to reduce considerably time of localization of possible failures and search of the reasons of their emergence. Also the monitoring system of IR gives the chance to carry out the pro-active analysis of functioning of IR, for example regarding performance[1].
