Content

On November 5, 2014 the AXELOT company completed the project on optimization of a corporate information system "1C:Enterprise 8" for The SIBUR-Service center of business LLC (SIBUR-TSOB).

Goals and Objectives

The main objective SIBUR-TSOB – due to implementation of the unified approaches and the general tools, by a uniform technique to service and support different non-productive business processes of the enterprises that they could focus on primary activity completely. The center is the owner of processes of accounting and the reporting of holding, uniform methodology, the control environment and analytical information and also provides the centralized support and development of a corporate information system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform by means of which service of manufacturing enterprises of the SIBUR group is executed.

Choosing a Solution

The high load imposes special requirements to ensuring its performance on a hardware and software system. Therefore the management SIBUR-TSOB made the decision on optimization of work of the software solution to reduce data processing time, to increase quality of the rendered services and efficiency of decision making due to more operational obtaining data, key for business. Experts of AXELOT company were involved to implementation of this large-scale project.

Project Progress

Collecting of the detailed technical information about available "bottlenecks" and the analysis of this information for the purpose of further optimization of a system became its first stage. For the solution of this task specialists of AXELOT built in a subsystem of assessment of performance which allows to execute calculation of target time of APDEX value a hardware and software system and in dynamics to observe change of performance of an information system. Besides, they used "Command Center Performance" (CCP) – the instrument of monitoring and performance review of client-server information systems on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.

Result

Performance data of central processors of a server complex and about load of its RAM, information on runtime of key transactions and some other indicators were as a result collected.

On analysis results of data retrieveds the project team of AXELOT developed and implemented the action plan on elimination of the revealed problems, the including reengineering of the code and architecture of data; change of the DBMS settings according to the requirement shown to performance and reliability of the DBMS system; change of settings of the application server.

Stability augmentation of work of a server cluster of 1C, performance improvement of an information system (including at execution of operations if at the user a large number of roles is set, and at document posting transaction accomplishment), optimization of cost accounting and depreciation became results of the project.

As a result of project implementation performance and stability of a 1C system which includes several tens of distributed bases and integrates work more than 2200 active users was several times increased.
